The Relationship Comfort Zone

How comfortable are you in your relationship? At what point are you willing to share your Netflix password or fart in front of your partner?

To find out, FromMars surveyed 2,000 people in all kinds of relationships from across the UK, to find out their attitudes towards relationship comfort levels.

COMFORT STAGES

The beginning of a relationship is often referred to as the honeymoon phase, where we often show the best (and often unrealistic) versions of ourselves. But what happens over time and when do you show the ‘real’ you? We surveyed Brits to see when they felt relaxed enough to do everything from introducing their friends to their parents through to when most people are happy to poo in front of one another.

The Major Milestones

When dating there are certain key milestones that signify where you are in your relationship and are a good indication to where the relationship is going. Big milestones such as meeting the family, making it ‘official’ and moving in together, are all important relationship indicators.

We asked Brits when they thought it was the right time to be hitting these milestones, so you can see if you’re on track or a little quick off the mark.
